No7 Nail Varnish Review - Bad Batch?

Hi guys,
Here's my review of the No7 Stay Perfect nail varnish in Practically Perfect. I have had it before in the shade Minty Fresh which I loved, although it did take at least 2 coats.

However, this one is rather disappointing because it came off my nails in quarter of an hour after it was dry and it didn't dry for ages.

You can see here that it peeled off completely on my ring finger!

Stay 'Perfect': more like Stay Away from this!

I had no problems with the colour, only that it took at least 2 coats to actually see anything that wasn't a translucent, streaky mess. But all of the nail varnishes in this range do that so I wasn't expecting anything great on this front.

Maybe I had a bad batch of this nail varnish - I have tried other shades from the range and they have been great!

I love this scent so much, it is a combination of freesia, amber and tangerine. It's very fruity and captures summer perfectly.  I adore this scent so much!

If you are in the UK there are offers at Boots sometimes that are £1! They are so cheap and so good!

Daily Blogging Challenge - Shop analysis - Selfridges

Hi guys
So I thought for my post today that I would do a Shop Analysis

If you think that these are good, leave a comment and I will do more of them!

So I went into Selfridges in London yesterday because I love the Ted Baker Women's clothes there. I was greeted by a very helpful assistant who seemed cheerful ( I can't stand it if they ask whether you need help in such a bored and monotonous tone that you can't be bothered to ask) and attentive.

Then I searched that part of the store and was looking for a particular item. The sales assistant, because there was no-one in there, started talking to me about the products and we had a great chat. She clearly knew her stuff as she told me many things that I didn't know about the products and the brand.

It was amazing!

My Lipsticks (PART 1 of Lips)

Hi guys,
So here's my much awaited part 1 of Lip Products: Lipsticks. I have quite a lot of lipsticks because, I get bored of the same one each time and I experiment with different colours as well. However I have had a clearout recently and thrown many away. I will add a link if  I can find a website selling them online I will. Some lippys of mine are quite old and may have been discontinued so if you can't find them sorry!

1.  17 Mirror Shine Lipstick in Pinked
http://www.boots.com/en/SEVENTEEN-Mirror-Shine-Lipstick_1281281/

I love this colour (baby pink) and it's relatively new. I used to have an Avon Lipstick in Champagne which was a similar colour (hello to Avon users 2007-!) I don't like the consistency that much though.

Best Lush Bath Bombs

Hi guys,
Here's my post on best Lush Bath Bombs. You can buy them at www.lush.com . Some are relatively cheap but some of these are only available in certain seasons.
1. Dragons Egg

This bath bomb is great! Your bath goes glittery and orange like you poured Lucozade in there! It smells great too and there are bits of paper confetti.

2. Cinders

This smells great but unfortunately you can only buy it around Christmas time. However you wouldn't want it any other time of year because it has the spicy warm Christmassy scent that you wouldn't want any other time of year. It makes your bathroom smell gorgeous for ages as well!

3. Space Girl

This is a gorgeous glittering galactic bomb with popping candy inside! It's gorgeous with a grapefruit scent to match.

4. Rose Queen

A gorgeous scent that's very rose-y and I think is very soothing. With real rose petals.

5. Golden Dream

A multicoloured sensation. Each layer is a different colour! It has the same scent as the old Snowshowers Shower Jelly with Champagne, Orange and Cognac.

6. Think Pink

This bath bomb sends your bath water BRIGHT PINK!! It is vanillary and gorgeous and I love it.

Review of Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil

Hiya guys,
So if you have seen my beauty haul post then you will have seen that I bought a Rimmel eyebrow pencil in 001 Dark Brown. Here's my review:
**
This product isn't great to be honest. It is very gingery and not a very good dark brown colour for dark brows.
The next colour after that is black which is too heavy for me.
It doesn't come off very easily with makeup remover but its salvaging point is that I dropped it and it didn't break.
The eyebrow brush is awful: too painful to brush eyebrows with and far too bristly.
All in all I think that Rimmel need to rethink this product and I would not recommend this.

How to KICK nervous habits!

Hi guys,
So yesterday I thought I would do advice as well as beauty stuff in my blog: Saffy (Life)Style!
One thing I used to do when I was nervous was bite my lips and inner cheek. Not just a nibble though, a full on ravage and I've heard of many things people do when they are nervous. So I thought that I would create a post giving ideas on how to resist the urge to do your habit.

1. DO NOT EVER find a replacement in the same area e.g if you bite your lip DO NOT chew gum: when you remove the distractions the affected area will get bored and just do it more.

2. Notice when you do it and force yourself to stop there and then. None of this 'after the next time'.

3. Notice why you do it. Is it when you are bored, anxious etc.

4. If it gets really bad get friends or family to alert you to when you do it.

5. Also if it gets out of hand, make a chart on a calendar, diary or homemade one. Tick days where you go a day without it and say why you did it if you did.
Kick those habits; its not just for New Year!
