Nail Pens

Hi guys,
So my favourite nail pens for nail art are the nail pens from Rio. I have been using these for a while and they're so great. They even have a pack of rhinestones and glitter when you buy a box of 8. They are only available by internet order I think but I love them. They take quite a while to dry but they are very long lasting and there is so much in the bottle that they last for a really long time.

Liebster Award

Hi guys,
So I have been nominated for the Liebster Award by Jessalyn Nicole of Makeup by Jessalyn Nicole. She has a makeup blog where she reviews makeup, gives tips and tricks and gives tutorials.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Eyes Palette Review

Hi guys,
I bought the Hypnose Drama Eyes Palette instead of the Star which is the mascara that I bought. I preferred these colours because the blue seemed a little too shocking and bright for what I wanted it for at the time (a daytime work eyeshadow) but I probably will purchase it at some point.

Sorry for not uploading recently but my computer went wonky and then I got a new one! So on my new computer, here I am!

Weirdest Baby Names

Hi guys,
With the whole North West thing with Kim Kardashian's baby, I decided to do a post on the weirdest baby names that at least 5 babies as of 2013 have as their name. I found most of these names from Huffington Post but descriptions are my own!

For Girls:
Ahmiracle or Damiracle:
Seriously guys, Miracle is acceptable but WHAT!!

Beautyful or Pretty:
What if they're not!

Goodness:
Ok until they become a teenager; is it a challenge?

Money or Pryce:
Um, no, just no.

Ikea:
Yes, at least 5 babies have been called Ikea this year.

Shady,
Sunny, Snow etc can work but not Shady.

Vegas:
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Younique:
One of the more acceptable names out of this list but still No.

For Boys:
Handsome:
See Beautyful or Pretty

Harshit:
Beautiful Sanskrit names meaning full of happiness but if you speak English it's a whole different story.

Kartier:
Klassy

Princeton or Princeten:
What if he gets into Yale or Harvard?

Vader:
A lifetime of Star Wars jokes.

Tigger:
Once said boy is a teenager, he will have relentless mickey-taking.

Heavyn:
Heaven is bad enough but for those who want a different spelling, DO NOT PUT HEAVY IN THE MIDDLE!!

Tequila:
Not a good name. Full stop.

Beauty Haul

Hi guys,
So, the other day I went shopping and bought the following:

No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow in Yellow Shine for £7.00.

This was a free gift and included the:
  • No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow in Pale Pink (It's actually more lavender coloured)
  • High Shine Lip Gloss in Coral Kiss
  • Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara in Black
  • Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser in Medium/ Fair
  • Airbrush Away Primer
I will do a more detailed review of all of these products in a separate post.

Another tube (Tube?) of L'Oreal Lumi Magique Touch of Light Highlighting Pen. I adore this as a highlighter and it is basically the same as their foundation.

Clinique 3Step Face Products:
  1. Liquid Facial Soap in Mild (for types 1 and 2)
  2. Clarifying Lotion I bought in 2 and 3 for when I have breakouts or dry patches
  3. Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion in Type 2.
Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara in Extra Black.

There will be product reviews on these so keep reading,
Saffy

No7 Nail Varnish Review - Bad Batch?

Hi guys,
Here's my review of the No7 Stay Perfect nail varnish in Practically Perfect. I have had it before in the shade Minty Fresh which I loved, although it did take at least 2 coats.

However, this one is rather disappointing because it came off my nails in quarter of an hour after it was dry and it didn't dry for ages.

You can see here that it peeled off completely on my ring finger!

Stay 'Perfect': more like Stay Away from this!

I had no problems with the colour, only that it took at least 2 coats to actually see anything that wasn't a translucent, streaky mess. But all of the nail varnishes in this range do that so I wasn't expecting anything great on this front.

Daily Blogging Challenge - Shop analysis - Selfridges

Hi guys
So I thought for my post today that I would do a Shop Analysis

If you think that these are good, leave a comment and I will do more of them!

So I went into Selfridges in London yesterday because I love the Ted Baker Women's clothes there. I was greeted by a very helpful assistant who seemed cheerful ( I can't stand it if they ask whether you need help in such a bored and monotonous tone that you can't be bothered to ask) and attentive.

Then I searched that part of the store and was looking for a particular item. The sales assistant, because there was no-one in there, started talking to me about the products and we had a great chat. She clearly knew her stuff as she told me many things that I didn't know about the products and the brand.

It was amazing!
